ABWE Recognized as a Best Christian Workplace

ABWE has taken top honors in the Best Christian Places to Work in the United States survey. The top 40 survey finalists are published in the April issue of Christianity Today magazine. The 4th annual award ceremony was held on March 15 at the Christian Management Associations convention in Denver, Colorado. Read More
ABWE Board member now oversees Answers in Genesis Worldwide

Dr. David R. Crandall, after leading Gospel Literature Services for 12 years, has resigned from GLS and accepted the position of Director of Answers in Genesis WorldWide. Crandall has been on the ABWE Board for 28 years, and it is his goal to continue to work with the ABWE global family in providing quality resources from AiG. Crandall stated, "ABWE and AiG are two forward looking organizations that will be able to partner extensively to reach the world for Christ."
Peru Incident Update
The tragic April, 2001 shoot down of an ABWE plane in Peru, killing Roni Bowers and her daughter, Charity, is back in the news. ABWE has clarified its decision not to comment on the matter. Read more details.

ABWE Partners With DonorDirect.com

Dr. Michael Loftis announced today a new partnership with DonorDirect.com, Inc. to supply a new information management platform for ABWE and its many ministries around the world. The vendor selection follows a two-year process of identifying organizational needs and work processes, reviewing many software products designed to serve the constituent relationship management and accounting needs of larger non-profits, and site visits to the finalists to evaluate training, customer support and product development. Frank Smith, President of DonorDirect, spoke briefly to staff, including a personal testimony of faith in Christ and his commitment to serving ministry organizations. This emphasis of the DonorDirect business plan and Frank's long experience in working with missionary organizations, together with a strong JD Edwards HR and Accounting platform supplied by DonorDirect's partnership with PeopleSoft were important elements in making the software partnership selection. "We believe this partnership will provide the right tool to meet ABWE's information management needs as we pursue our global vision of evangelism and church planting leading to missions movements for the glory of God," said Dr. Loftis. The technology search and implementation team is led by Neil Glotfelty, Director of Information Systems.
