ABWE has a team of professional photographers who annually add over 20,000 quality images of our mission fields to our collection. Most missionaries aren't trained to be photographers, and the work of these volunteer photographers has greatly enhanced media presentations for our missionaries. Our team of professional photographers is gifted with the ability to capture the heart of missions. The photo galleries here represent some of the best of these images. Spreading Seed in Portugal
The Encounter Revival Ministries (ERM) team is made up of young adults who serve as singers, technicians, office personnel, and children's workers. The team is constantly involved in discipleship and outreach ministries as they travel throughout the nation proclaiming the truths of God's Word in churches and Christian schools. They also take an annual foreign ministry trip. The ERM team of 1996 was the first to visit Portugal. It was then that ABWE missionaries Doug and Sharon Fry recognized the potential of the team to open opportunities for spreading the seed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
During ERM’s sixth visit to Portugal in April 2006, the team ministered at three community concerts, a World of Life soccer tournament, four church services, a church youth event, two English classes, and at chapels at the Greater Lisbon Christian Academy. There was also some time to take in the beautiful scenery. Please pray for the missionaries in Portugal as they water the seeds that ERM was able to spread.
